Ways to Hang your
Christmas
Traditionally, Christmas stockings are
hung on a fireplace mantel, however there are other ways to hang
Christmas stockings. First, the most important thing to remember is
that all the Christmas stocking toes should point in the same
direction. (Some prefer all the Christmas stocking toes point
to the right, others prefer the left). Next, for those who
have mantels, the key is to find matching Christmas stocking holders
to hang your Christmas stockings. There are many pretty
holders on the market, some are ceramic, others are cast iron or
brass. If you are thinking about stuffing your Christmas
stockings with items that are somewhat heavy, you should think about
purchasing holders that are sturdy enough to hold the Christmas
stocking in place so it doesn't tip over. Another idea is to
hang hooks underneath the mantle on which to hang your Christmas
Stockings. You won't be able to see the hooks and that will
leave your mantle free for other Christmas items, such as a wreath,
garland, candles, or family pictures. If you do not have a
mantle. you could string garland across the fireplace and hang your
Christmas stockings by a pretty piece of ribbon. Be careful
that you hang your Christmas stockings high enough, so that they are
not too close to the open fire.
For those who do not have
fireplaces, I suggest hanging your Christmas stockings from a
horizontal wooden coat rack that has pegs. Attach the coat
rack to a wall and hang the Christmas stockings from the wooden pegs
by a pretty piece of ribbon. Also, if you have a stair rail,
they can be hung nicely from the rail, surrounded by garland and red
bows. Be creative!

"Our stockings arrived! Thank you so much, they are absolutely
beautiful. We are looking forward to our 1st Christmas with
our new daughter and the stockings will be treasured by our family.
I am so happy with the way they turned out. I started
decorating today and the stockings were the first thing I put up.
What a perfect start to making new traditions with our little one!
Thank you for making our holidays complete. Merry Christmas!"
